SENAI Faculty of Technology of Management Development
About the college

The SENAI Faculty of Technology of Management Development (SENAI FATESG), located in the city of Goiania, Goiás, Brazil, is one of the higher education institutions associated with the Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (SENAI), part of the FIEG System (Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Goiás). FATESG emerged as part of SENAI’s expansion in Goiás, which began in 1952. The college was designed to adapt to social and economic changes, emphasizing innovation and professional qualifications.
What was the challenge?
The main challenge was to identify a solution that was accessible for academic use, in Portuguese, offering 3D visualization, reports, and optimization resources relevant to the Brazilian context. Several criteria were also considered, including educational licensing, use in teaching labs, a short learning curve, accessible technical support, and technical-pedagogical collaboration.
The Impact of EasyCargo
Previously, SENAI FATESG relied solely on theoretical classes, which were less engaging and less accurate. After adopting EasyCargo, they noticed an increase in student interest and a clearer understanding of transportation modes, load planning, and workflow. The projects now feature more efficient plans and stronger technical justifications, resulting in less rework during simulations.

Expectations for using EasyCargo at the university
SENAI FATESG was looking for software that would improve the learning experience for its students with a clear and intuitive loading plan for trucks, containers, and pallets. It aimed to strengthen the way of teaching processes such as loading and unloading, shipment restrictions, analytical reporting, and optimization, all aligned with the professional skills required in supply chain management.
The provided solution and its impact on the university
FATESG College found EasyCargo to be the ideal tool for teaching its students in a practical, easy, and intuitive way how technology can optimize logistics processes.
EasyCargo fully delivered a user-friendly web interface, a 3D visualization of the load plan, carton dimensions, restrictions, and shipment reports available for student assessment and their portfolios.
In the classroom, it favored active methodologies (PBL, flipped classroom), which stimulated logical thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. It also integrated with the practices of the Logistics Laboratory (LABLOG), thereby raising the quality of practical activities.
What did the professor say about us?
“EasyCargo made our course more practical, increased student satisfaction, and provided proof of pedagogical quality, all of which contributed to achieving a maximum score of 5 in the MEC evaluation. Additionally, the software facilitated webinars, extension projects, and integration with other disciplines. This fostered connections between fields and improved dialogue within the industry.”
– Vitor Resende, the coordinator and professor of the Logistics Course at the SENAI FATESG College
He has been working at the institution since August 2023 and has been the coordinator since December 2023.
