We have further improvements to EasyCargo that will make your work even easier and faster. It’s no news that in EasyCargo, you have the option to manually adjust individual items within the load planning process. You can move items from place to place, rotate them, or remove them from the load planning compartment.

Until now, you could only manipulate one item at a time. So if you wanted to move, for example, an entire column of cargo to another location, you had to move each item one by one. This is a bit impractical, don’t you think? That’s why we created a new feature: multi-pickup. With this feature, you can now move entire columns or even sets of boxes. How does multi-pickup work?

Manipulating a column of items

Before this feature, it was not possible to mark the item on which other crates lie. Now, just click on the bottom crate of the column you want to move and it will automatically mark the entire column in yellow. This gives you the ability to manipulate the entire column.

You can move, remove, and rotate the selected items in the same way as you have been used to for individual items.

Manipulating the whole set of items

You don’t have to stick to individual columns. You can move several columns and rows of boxes if the layout of the items allows it (they will not overlap inappropriately).

In the same way as before, click on the bottom crate to automatically highlight the entire column of crates in yellow. Whereas in the previous example, you would then start to move the column of crates but in this case, you click on the column a second time, which marks the other crates in blue. These crates can then be selected to move a larger set of items.

Moving the mouse and clicking on one of the blue crates will automatically select it and the other items will be highlighted in yellow to add them to the set. To select the set you want to move, click again. This confirms the selection and you can manipulate the set as you wish.

With this new feature, manual adjustments to the shipment will take significantly less time and make the entire load planning process even more efficient.
