Learn the basics of load planning 1 Mar 2021

Have you purchased EasyCargo and do not know how to start with load planning? Our tutorial video No. 10 Settings options when optimising a load plan will help you.

As the name suggests, the video shows the options for planning the load, from setting up the application to introducing the application’s elements. It guides you through the entire loading process and continuously alerts you to existing videos that describe the features shown in more detail.

In case you are still not sure how to start, we recommend reading the Handbook for load planning which will guide you through the entire load planning process. It’s in PDF, so you can easily download it or share it with your colleagues.

Do you need to load or unload the cargo gradually? With Priority Groups, it’s a piece of cake! 22 Şub 2021

You often ask us whether it is possible to set up a gradual loading or unloading of items in EasyCargo if you have several unloadings planned during one transport. The answer is yes; for similar situations, there is a function called Priority Groups. With this function, you can easily create up to 50 groups, which can be useful not only for different destinations but also for adjusting the order in which the items are loaded. The following video shows how to create and use priority groups:

However, that’s not all! Other settings can be used when working with these groups. These include Respecting separation into Priority Groups, No stacking of Priority Groups, Splitting the Groups with an invisible wall, or Ignoring separation into Groups. Those features are described in more detail in our video Advanced Priority Groups settings:

If even these advanced settings don’t help you arrange the cargo the way you need, you can manually edit the load plan and place the items exactly as you need.
